At the age of ten Irving undertook his first feature, on 8mm. He continued making countless films, culminating with his graduation project New World. 

He wrote and directed his debut feature, the indie comedy How To Be, which was distributed worldwide in 2009. 

His second feature, the heartfelt comedy/horror Ghost Team, was released theatrically across English language territories in 2016.

When not making movies he makes music with various groups and writes graphic novels with Eisner award winning artist Gideon KendalAnd when not doing that – he’s been known to garden.

He lives in Brooklyn, where he’s currently in post production on his third feature film ‘Seed’.
